Privacy Policy
Last updated Oct 31, 2026
This policy explains how ResponseRidge ("we," "us") handles personal information collected through this website and through the call-capture service we run for home-service businesses (our "Clients").
1. Two roles
- Our own website and sales contacts. When you visit our site or book an audit, we decide how your information is used, as described here.
- Calls and texts to our Clients. When you call or text a heating, plumbing, electrical or restoration business that uses our service, we handle your information on behalf of that business, under our contract with it. That business's own privacy practices also apply; contact it directly with questions about its use of your information.
2. Information we collect
From website visitors and prospects
- Information you enter when booking an audit or contacting us (name, business name, phone, email, trade, preferred time, notes). Bookings are handled by our scheduling provider.
- Basic technical data our hosting provider logs automatically (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
From people who call or text our Clients
- Your phone number and the time and length of the call.
- What you tell the automated assistant: name, service address, the problem, equipment details, access notes, appointment preferences, and whether you agree to receive text messages.
- A written transcript and summary of the conversation. We do not record or keep call audio.
- Text messages you send or receive, and opt-out requests.
3. How we use it
- To answer calls, book appointments, alert a Client's on-call staff, and send the texts and summaries the service provides.
- To send one missed-call text when your call to a Client went unanswered, and other texts only as described in Section 5.
- For our own prospects: to schedule and run the audit you requested, send its results, and follow up about our services. You can opt out of our emails at any time.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve quality.
- To comply with law and enforce our agreements.
4. How we share it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With the Client you called, which receives your details, transcript and summary so it can serve you.
- With service providers that run parts of the service for us under contract: voice AI, telephone and text-message carriers, workflow automation, scheduling, email and spreadsheet tools, website hosting and payments. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law or to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business (subject to this policy).
Text messaging privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing categories above and will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver the messages.
5. Text messages
- Missed-call text: if you call a Client and nobody answers, you may get one text from that business inviting you to reply or call back. It includes STOP instructions.
- Other texts (appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, review requests) are sent only if you agreed to receive them.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. How long we keep it
- Client call records (transcripts, summaries, details): for as long as we serve that Client plus 90 days, unless the Client asks us to delete them sooner or the law requires longer. Transcripts older than 12 months may be deleted sooner.
- Prospect and audit records: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them.
- Opt-out records: as long as needed to honor your opt-out.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including limited access, two-step verification where available and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as Florida law requires (Fla. Stat. § 501.171).
8. Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and of our emails using the link in any email.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by contacting us through cal.com/signalridge/audit. If we hold it for a Client, we will pass your request to that Client and help it respond.
9. Children
Our service is for businesses and adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Emergencies
Our service is not a 911 service. In an emergency, call 911.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
